Abstract

Examines the struggle of relatives and survivors, especially since the NSU’s self-exposure in 2011, to have victims of right-wing violence included in Germany’s social memory. Treats remembering and not remembering as part of a symbolic order shaped by power relations, and connects this to racist migration policy and symbolic violence.
